In the evening, the Air Defense Forces intercepted seven Ukrainian drones in the sky over the Kaluga region. This was announced on October 11 by Governor Vladislav Shapsha.

"Tonight, the air defense forces destroyed seven UAVs over the territories of the Babyninsky municipal district and on the outskirts of Kaluga," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

It is specified that special services are located at the crash sites. There are no casualties or infrastructure damage.

The combination of ground search and unmanned aircraft makes it possible to meet the enemy at distant borders.

On October 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down two guided aerial bombs and 909 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the ministry, since the beginning of the special military operation, Russian military personnel have destroyed 284 helicopters, more than 259,000 drones, 674 aircraft, 672 anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as 31,190 tanks and other armored combat vehicles.
