CSKA defeated FC Rodina and became the leader of the RPL

CSKA defeated Rodina in the capital derby in the tenth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match at the VEB Arena on October 11 ended with a confident 3-0 victory for the Army.

The home team took the lead in the 24th minute thanks to a precise shot by defender Danil Krugovoy. Even before the break, midfielder Ivan Oblyakov doubled CSKA's advantage by scoring a goal in the 35th minute. At the end of the match, he hit the opponent's goal again, scoring a double in the 80th minute and setting the final result.

After 10 games, CSKA scored 22 points and topped the RPL standings. With five points, Rodina is on the 15th line, being in the outsider zone of the championship.
