Journalist Viktor Levinzon disappeared in Leningrad region
57-year-old journalist Viktor Levinzon has disappeared in the Leningrad region. This was announced on October 7 by the Lisa Alert search and rescue team.
According to the search team, Levinson last contacted on October 6 at about 17:00. There is evidence that a man was seen walking along the Road of Life.
"My father left on the road of life in the direction of St. Petersburg. He didn't tell anyone where or why. I did not notice any strange behavior, except that I had memory problems <...> Before I disappeared, I did not come, I did not tell anything," Alexander, the missing man's son, told Izvestia.
He also said that at about 3:30 p.m., his father started sending incoherent messages consisting of a set of letters, after which he stopped contacting. According to him, on the DVR recording, the man was spotted about 7 km from the house. He did not take his passport, money, or phone with him. Levinzon's daughter said that his relatives are still looking for him.
Viktor Levinzon previously wrote sports columns for the newspaper Vecherniy Peterburg, and was also one of the leaders of the Zenit fan movement. He hasn't been working anywhere lately.
A man with three daughters disappeared on October 3 after going out on a boat to the Krasnoyarsk reservoir. It was noted that the 37-year-old man and his children went to Biryusa Bay. After that, there was no information about their whereabouts. Later, one of the girls contacted her mother and informed her that everything was fine with the family.
