The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a humanitarian convoy with help for Alyosha
Vehicles with humanitarian aid from Russia sent to Alyoshki, Kherson region, were destroyed by the Ukrainian military. This was announced on October 7 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"The humanitarian cargo was destroyed. Thank God, the drivers were saved. <...> All this continues every day, unfortunately," he said at a briefing on the situation in Alyoshki. A recording of the broadcast is available on the Rutube channel of the Tavria television company.
The governor stressed that over the past year, Ukrainian drone operators have destroyed more than 10 ambulances near Alyoshki.
Dmitry Polyansky, Russia's Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, said on October 1 that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were depriving residents of Alyosha of electricity and the opportunity to receive outside help. Representatives of the Russian security forces, also describing the situation in the city, reported on October 4 that the Ukrainian military did not allow the bodies of the dead to be removed from there, as they were afraid of recording their crimes.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, warned on September 30 that Kiev intends to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Alyoshki. At the same time, the Ukrainian side, according to her information, plans to blame Moscow for the incident.
