The expert linked the espionage scandal in Germany with the instability of the management system

The episode with the arrest of the former head of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND), which came to the attention of the German authorities, is far from the only one. Natalia Eremina, a professor at St. Petersburg State University, drew attention to this in an interview with Izvestia on October 7.

The scenario of a potential clash with Russia is included in the current military planning of NATO countries, the Bundestag said.

The specialist recalled that there had already been strange moments in the country before, for example, those related to the bombing of the Nord Streams, as well as when the ex-head of the BND helped involve an Israeli detective agency in the abduction of the children of one of the millionaires.

"We see that this is probably a sign of serious instability in the German governance system, when there is a feeling that the government will change and you can bargain in your favor, no one will find anything, will not discover, etc. There is also some sense of impunity," explained the interlocutor of the editorial board.

Nevertheless, according to the political scientist, it is still difficult to draw conclusions, except for what lies on the surface — everything is very dysfunctional in the German government system.
