In September, the second Bugatti W16 Mistral hypercar was registered in Russia. If the first car was registered in Moscow, then the second one went to Yekaterinburg. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel on October 7.

Bugatti has released a total of 99 copies of the W16 Mistral. The estimated cost of such a car is about €5 million.

The model debuted in 2024, it is based on the Chiron hypercar and is equipped with an eight-liter W16 engine with four turbines, which develops 1600 hp and 1600 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the model reaches 453.91 km/h, which is a world record for mass—produced open cars, recorded in November 2024. Production of the W16 Mistral ended in July 2026 at the company's factory in Molsheim, France.

The W16 Mistral, registered in Russia at the end of summer, turned out to be the first Bugatti car registered in the country since 2013. During the entire observation period, only 17 Bugatti cars were imported to Russia, of which only six were new.

Earlier that day, Jaguar unveiled the Type 01, the first production car of the British brand after its complete relaunch with the abandonment of the internal combustion engine and the most powerful road car in the brand's history. The four-seat electric Grand Tourer received three electric motors, all-wheel drive and advanced aerodynamics.
