The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District will begin paying 1 million rubles for drones shot down over the region.

The government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District has approved a payment of 1 million rubles to members of mobile firing groups for the destroyed drone. The relevant document was published on the website of the regional government on October 6.

"Install <...>a monetary payment in the amount of 1 million rubles for the suppression of the enemy's unmanned aerial vehicle by destroying it on the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug," the resolution says.

According to the decree, the group that successfully repelled a drone attack on fuel and energy infrastructure facilities will receive the money. The sum of 1 million rubles will be distributed among all the members of the group. However, payment is not provided if the drone has caused damage to the object.

It is noted that the decision on the payment is made by the Department of Regional Security. Information about the destruction of the drone must be confirmed by the military commissariat.

On June 23, additional measures were introduced in the Leningrad Region to support the fighters of mobile firing groups (MOG), it is specified that upon conclusion of the contract, reservists will be paid a lump sum of 250 thousand rubles.

In addition, the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that for each downed drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a bonus of 100 thousand rubles is paid.
