The organizer of the cancelled concert, Maksim, did not refund the money for the tickets.

The concert of singer MakSim (real name — Maria Abrosimova) scheduled for September 28 was canceled due to the fault of the organizers from "SHOW CAMP LLC". This was announced by Dmitry Guguchkin, the concert director of the artist, in an interview with "Izvestia".

According to the singer's representative, the organizers contacted the team themselves in May and promised to fully prepare the event. However, in the end, they did not enforce the rider.

The last time representatives of "SHOW CAMP LLC" contacted us live was one or two weeks ago, after which communication continued only by e-mail to record negotiations. Later, the organizers stopped responding to messages.

Viewers started reporting problems with refunds. One of the people who bought the tickets, Victoria Shelistyuk, told "Izvestia" that she had purchased them back in mid-July, but on August 2 the performance was canceled and postponed to September 28.

""Today is the day, the concert was supposed to be here at the "Yantarny" sports complex. <...> I issued a refund due to the fact that the concert was canceled, <...> it is indicated that the refund amount is zero rubles," Shelistyuk complained.

Another victim, Daria Shemitova, drew attention to the fact that the cancellation of the event was announced only on the day of its holding, although the singer's director had previously stated that there was no communication with the organizers. According to her, the ticket platform sends customers to the organizers who do not respond to requests, and the refund amount in the system is also displayed as zero.

Guguchkin stressed that the artist's team has nothing to do with ticket sales and did not receive the proceeds. According to the agreement, Maxim's representatives were only entitled to a fixed fee for the performance itself.

The legal and financial details of the conflict have not been disclosed at the moment. The MakSim team intends to discuss further actions with its lawyers. Now the singer's representatives are working with new trusted promoters to reschedule the performance to another date and preserve the validity of the tickets already purchased.

Shortly before the concerts on July 19, Maxim announced that her father had died after long-term cancer treatment. Doctors assumed that he had no more than a year to live, but the man lived for another 14 years after the diagnosis. A few days later, the singer was hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration in her health and was discharged five days later.
