The Russian ambassador announced the imposition of sanctions by Canada against Russia due to impotence.

Canada continues to impose sanctions against Russia, but Moscow has long ignored them. This was announced on September 28 by Russian Ambassador to Canada Oleg Stepanov.

"No one has been paying attention to Canadian sanctions for a long time. All these periodic announcements are from impotence," Stepanov told "RIA Novosti".

According to the diplomat, Ottawa's new sanctions decisions are of a ritual nature and are aimed at reminding the allies of the Western "war club."

The indigenous people of the country also began to request visas for resettlement in the Russian Federation.

According to a document published on September 11 on the website of the Canadian Foreign Ministry, Ottawa expanded the sanctions list against Russia. In addition to the head of Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov, and the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, the list includes the leaders of the "Movement of the First", Artur Orlov and Denis Chernobai, and the adviser to the office of the Commissioner for Children's Rights, Vladimir Khromov, as well as others.
