Trump says he is ready to consider new strikes on Iran

The head of the White House, Donald Trump, said that he is constantly thinking about resuming attacks on Iran. He told about it on September 27 in an interview with the Axios portal.

"When asked if he was considering the possibility of resuming strikes on Iran, Trump said: "I always think about it," the article says.

The American president also said that he was preparing for new negotiations. According to him, Tehran is interested in concluding an agreement, but the proposed option, as Trump noted, differs from the one Washington wants to achieve.

Trump added that Iran, in his opinion, overestimated its capabilities.

Washington called the negotiations at the UN General Assembly "promising", but experts are very skeptical.
