A friend of a Russian woman who died in Abkhazia asked her to "not seek adventures"

A friend of 26-year-old Amina, who was found murdered in Abkhazia, asked her to refuse to meet with a new acquaintance. This was reported to "Izvestia" by the mother of the deceased Russian Gulsina Bikbova.

According to her, on September 23, the girls descended from the mountains in Gagra and met a local fruit vendor, who invited them for coffee. A friend urged Amina to "not seek adventures," but she nevertheless went to the man in the evening. Her friend left Abkhazia on the night of September 24, and Amina decided to stay at the resort until the 26th, as her mother warned. Before she disappeared, she sent video messages to a friend from a new acquaintance's house.

"Amina showed that he had set the table for her, vegetables and fruits were cut, the dog was running there," Gulsina said.

After her daughter stopped contacting her, Bikbova asked an acquaintance living in Abkhazia to go to the man. He claimed that they just had coffee, after which the girl allegedly left. Later, his testimony changed: he stated that after a joint vacation, the Russian woman called someone, got into an unknown car and drove away.

And the authorities intend to actively involve mobile operators in the search for the disappeared.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of a Russian woman. According to the agency, he turned out to be a resident of Gudauta, born in 2001. He admitted that he was staying with a Russian woman in a rented apartment. During the quarrel that arose, he strangled the girl, and on the morning of September 24, he borrowed a car from a friend, into which he loaded the body and took it to the gorge area. The suspect was going to drown the corpse, but could not cope physically and left it in the bushes by a country road.

A tourist from Orenburg disappeared on vacation in Abkhazia, where she was with her friend in Gagra. The mother of the missing Russian woman told "Izvestia" on September 27 that she last spoke with her daughter on September 23. It was previously established that before disappearing, the tourist met a local resident. He said that on the day of her disappearance, Amina got into an unknown car and drove away. Law enforcement officers are searching for the tourist.
