Vucic called the refusal of sanctions against Russia the reason for the attempted "color revolution"

Serbia's decision not to impose sanctions against Russia was one of the reasons for the attempt to organize a "color revolution" in the country. This was announced on September 27 by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"When I signed that document, I knew exactly what it would lead to. This document is the reason, and it accounts for more than 70% of all the main factors, why they tried to organize a "color revolution" here," he said.

Vucic also touched upon Serbia's relations with Ukraine. He said that Kiev, in his opinion, had not supported Belgrade on the issue of the country's territorial integrity and was taking a tough stance on the non-recognition of Kosovo. The Serbian president added that he had discussed the international situation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
