Connecting to a corporate tariff in order to reduce the cost of mobile communication may lead to the loss of a familiar number. This was announced on September 27 by Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

According to him, there are proposals on ad sites to reduce communication costs by 50-70%. However, such a scheme often involves transferring the user's number to a corporate group.

""The contract with the operator is no longer concluded by the citizen himself, but by an organization or an individual entrepreneur,"" Khaminsky told the Prime news agency.

The lawyer clarified that in this case, the person actually uses the number that belongs to the corporate group. Khaminsky noted that the real savings with such a connection may be noticeably lower than stated and amount to about 20-30%.

The main risk is that the user no longer has a direct contractual relationship with the operator. If the organization terminates the corporate agreement, excludes a specific number from the group, or disposes of it in another way, the person may lose the number.
