Miroshnik accused the Ukrainian Foreign Minister of spreading lies about Alyoshka at the UN General Assembly

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga used the rostrum of the UN General Assembly to spread false statements about the situation in the city of Alyoshka, Kherson region. This was announced on September 27 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"The statement by the Kiev Ministry of Defense, Andrei Sibiga, about the situation in Alyoshki at the UN General Assembly is an example of the cruelest cynicism and omnivorousness in using even the most terrible lies to their advantage. For more than a year, Ukrainian militants have been trying to create an artificial blockade of the civilian population in the city of Alyoshka," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Miroshnik said that the Ukrainian formations have been attacking Alyoshka for a long time. The city is being shelled, attacked by drones and remote mining. In addition, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported attacks on transport routes leading to the city, as well as on infrastructure facilities, including medical facilities, residential buildings and communal facilities.

Miroshnik also clarified that the Ukrainian side is preventing the delivery of humanitarian supplies. According to him, about 20 days ago, a humanitarian convoy was attacked, which was heading to the city to deliver food and evacuate the injured.

Of the 1,700 surrounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, just over a thousand remained in the ranks — official Kiev continues to ignore the situation.

On September 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) also hit a humanitarian aid convoy at the entrance to the city of Alyoshki with drones. The drivers managed to escape, but one of them was injured. Humanitarian aid was not delivered to the residents of the city.

Miroshnik also stated on September 23 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on educational infrastructure make it difficult for children to study in frontline areas. In particular, he reported on the attack on the school in Alyoshki. Due to the threat to the safety of children, they were transferred to distance learning. At the same time, Miroshnik stressed that the shelling continues even after the transition to this format.
