Italy says NATO is playing a dangerous game over arms supplies to Ukraine

The West is playing with fire by continuing to supply Ukraine with weapons to strike deep into Russian territory. This was announced on September 20 by Italian journalist Thomas Fasi, commenting on the attempted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the capital region.

"The situation is exactly like this: NATO is systematically launching real bombing attacks deep into Russian territory with the hands of its Ukrainian proxy," Fazi wrote on the social network X.

The journalist added that NATO, in his opinion, is trying to convince the Western public of the threat from Russia, while calling what is happening a "hybrid war." He also said that in the event of a retaliatory strike from Moscow, the alliance could present it as an unprovoked action.

Fazi called the current situation an "insanely dangerous game" and noted that the continued supply of weapons for strikes on Russian territory increases the risks of further conflict development.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a record number of drones in a day, but the Russian air defense system stood the test of strength.

The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, announced on September 20 that an object on the territory of the Moscow Oil Refinery was damaged as a result of a drone attack. It was noted that emergency services were working at the scene.

In a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on September 21, US President Donald Trump demanded that Ukraine stop attacks on oil refineries in Russia. According to the portal, attacks on Russian refineries contribute to an increase in world prices for diesel fuel.
