Juan Diaz has left the post of head coach of FC "Rodina"

Spanish specialist Juan Diaz has left the post of head coach of the Moscow football club (FC) "Rodina". This was announced on the team's website on September 21.

"Rodina" thanks Juan Diaz and his staff for their dedication, emotions, and sincerity and wishes them success in their future careers," the message says.

The club and Diaz have agreed to end their cooperation. Along with the head coach, members of his staff Jose Serrano, Antonio Salas, Jose Romero, Juan Espinar and Carlos Nieto left the team.

Diaz took over the "Homeland" in September 2025. Under his leadership, the team achieved a historic result, becoming the winner of the PARI League and entering the Russian Premier League (RPL). Barseg Kirakosyan was appointed interim head coach. Alexander Dimidko and Egor Novosadov joined his staff.

Former "Spartak" Moscow head coach Dmitry Alenichev took over the Tula "Arsenal" on September 15. Alenichev's last job was at the Krasnoyarsk "Yenisei", which he left in 2019.
