The weather forecaster predicted warm and rainy weather in Moscow this week.

Warm weather will remain in Moscow this week, but rains will prevail due to the influence of cyclones. The temperature in the capital region will remain 2-3 degrees above the climatic norm. ""Izvestia"" was informed about this on September 21 by the leading specialist of the Meteonosti news agency, Tatiana Pozdnyakova.

"Cloudy weather is expected in Moscow and the region on Tuesday, with some clarifications and short-term rains. At night, the temperature in the capital will be about +13 degrees, in the region — from +8 to +13. In the afternoon, the air in Moscow will warm up to +17...+19 degrees, in the region — up to +15 ... +20, "— said the expert.

On Wednesday, the weather will be affected by an intermediate ridge of increased atmospheric pressure. Precipitation will become less intense and will pass in places in the form of short-term rains. +11...+13 degrees is expected in Moscow at night, +17...+19 degrees in the afternoon.

Pozdnyakova said that Thursday will be the rainiest day of the week. There will be a cyclone moving from Belarus near the region, so the amount of precipitation will increase. At the same time, the wind direction will change — it will become easterly and northeasterly. In Moscow, the temperature will be about +10...+11 degrees at night, +15...+17 in the afternoon, +12...+17 is expected in the region during the day.

Rains will also remain in the metropolitan region on Friday. No significant precipitation is expected on Saturday, the expert added.

At the same time, the temperature background will not change significantly in the coming days. According to Pozdnyakova, it will remain 2-3 degrees above the climatic norm, so a noticeable cooling in the metropolitan region is not expected yet.

"Indian summer" is expected to repeat in the Moscow region in October with a lot of sunny days, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said on September 16. According to him, the probability of the return of warm and sunny weather is associated with the projected lack of precipitation in October. This, as the forecaster noted, increases the likelihood of a repeat Indian summer period in October.
