Zakharova called the turnout in the State Duma elections abroad extremely high

The turnout in the elections to the State Duma of the ninth convocation abroad is extremely high. This was announced on September 20 by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.

The diplomat stressed that the current figures are significantly ahead of the dynamics of previous election campaigns. According to Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry had prepared in advance for such a level of activity by its compatriots.

""It certainly exceeds the dynamics of the previous elections,"" she said on the air of the IS "Vesti".

Among the leaders in the number of people who voted, Zakharova singled out polling stations in Yerevan, Belgrade, Chisinau, Pyongyang and Cyprus. High turnout was also recorded in Kazakhstan and Phuket.

On September 19, Alexey Likhachev, the company's CEO, announced that more than 90% of Russian employees of "Rosatom" working abroad voted in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In total, 60,000 "Rosatom" employees work in 12 countries, of which 18,000 are Russian citizens.

On the same day, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova, called on Western countries, in particular Germany, to restore order in their electoral systems. She said that a real information attack is being carried out against Russia abroad, in which "traitors and embezzled officials" who have settled mainly in Berlin are taking part.
