Voting in the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the IX convocation is taking place regularly throughout Russia, all polling stations have opened on time. This was announced on September 18 by the Head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Ella Pamfilova.

"All the polling stations have opened. We have been in touch with our colleagues all this time as the sites were opened, apart from any questions, thank God nothing so extraordinary happened, everything is in normal mode," she said.
