All 1,443 polling stations in the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the IX convocation in Moscow opened on time and without violations. This was announced on September 18 by Olga Kirillova, Chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission, at a morning briefing at the Public Headquarters for Election Observation in Moscow.

"In general, all 1443 (sites. — Ed.) opened on time, without violations," said the chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission.

Kirillova added that remote electronic voting (DEG) is available at electronic voting terminals at polling stations and remotely.

Elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation are held from 18 to 20 September from 08:00 to 20:00. A total of 4,436 candidates were registered for the State Duma elections in federal and single-mandate districts. "United Russia" party has the largest number of representatives — 389. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is represented by 329 candidates, "New People" — 295, LDPR — 234.

In Moscow, more than 200,000 people took part in the first half hour of Remote Electronic Voting (DEG).
