The State Duma called every vote in the elections a contribution to the development of Russia

Participation in elections is a personal contribution of every citizen to the future and development of the country. This was announced on September 18 by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya after voting at polling station No. 16 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

"Every vote is a very significant, important personal contribution to the preservation, development and success of Russia. Russia is a big country. Today we are making our choice," she stressed.

Yarovaya said that residents of Kamchatka launched a Single voting day in the country. According to her, the elected deputies from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad and the reunified regions should work and act as a team together with the president. Yarovaya noted that their work should be professional, verified, responsible and honest, as well as take into account the interests of citizens and the tasks of protecting and defeating Russia.

Within three days, Russians will elect governors, federal and regional deputies.

Elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation are held from September 18 to 20. The Central Election Commission has registered 4,436 candidates on federal lists and single-mandate constituencies. "United Russia" party has the largest number of representatives — 389. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is represented by 329 candidates, "New People" — 295, LDPR — 234.

Polling stations have already opened in Moscow, as well as in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). The sites are open from 08:00 to 20:00 for three days. In the first half hour of remote electronic voting (DEG) in Moscow, more than 200,000 people took part in it. Residents of Donbass and Novorossiya are participating in the elections to the State Duma as full subjects of the Russian Federation for the first time.
