The Investigative Committee of Russia did not initiate a criminal case into the death of Maxim Martsinkevich, known as Tesak, in the Chelyabinsk detention center. This was announced on September 17 by the lawyer of the deceased's family, Alexei Mikhalchik.
""After Martsinkevich's death, several pre—investigation checks were conducted, but all of them ended with the refusal to initiate proceedings," he stated in an interview with RIA Novosti."
