The European Union will extend sanctions against Russia for seven days until they are automatically extended and differences are resolved. This was reported on September 14 by the EUobserver portal with reference to diplomats.
The EU blacklist includes about 3,000 Russian individuals and legal entities and requires the consent of all 27 members every six months. The validity period expired on September 15.
