""Matryoshka of Moscow" multimedia facility, which is located in Zaryadye Park, has been visited by several hundred thousand people for a year," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

""A year ago, Sergei Sobyanin announced the opening of the innovative "Matryoshka of Moscow" attraction in "Zaryadye" Park. The art object combines digital art and a tourist center. It consists of 600,000 parts and several intelligent control systems. During this time, we have conducted over 900 educational screenings," Liksutov said.

According to him, "Matryoshka of Moscow" is the most innovative attraction in the capital. Its height is 22 meters. It has over 1.5 thousand media screens in the form of honeycombs. More than 2.1 thousand motors allow each part to extend up to a meter and change the angle of inclination up to 45 degrees. An object can change shape every one to two seconds.

The design was developed by Moscow engineers. It consists of a static cylinder and an extendable installation. All the main components are manufactured in the capital's factories.

"Matryoshka of Moscow" tells about important city events, as well as shows educational cultural programs. During the year, residents of Moscow and guests of the capital were able to see more than 25 scenes for major holidays, as well as three multimedia concert shows with the participation of Russian pop stars.

On City Day, September 13, 2025, the opening of the "Matryoshka of Moscow" took place. Then the special program "The Birth of a Matryoshka Doll" was shown. The organizers demonstrated all the technical capabilities of the new attraction, and the guests were able to hear popular music by Russian artists.

Since June 1, 2026, the fairy tale "Matryoshka: the Secret of the tree of childhood", dedicated to the history of the creation of the media facility, is being shown. The educational program tells the children that combining talent and effort allows them to achieve significant results.

Evening screenings take place from Tuesday to Sunday at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. On Saturdays, there is an additional session at 22:00.
