The air defense forces destroyed about 25 Ukrainian UAVs over the Rostov region

During the night, the air defense forces eliminated about 25 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the sky over the Rostov region. This was announced on September 7 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"Last night, during the repulse of an air attack on the Rostov region, about two and a half dozen UAVs were destroyed," the Telegram channel said.

Slyusar clarified that the drones were shot down over the city of Novoshakhtinsk and the Azovsky, Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Kasharsky and Ust-Donetsk regions.

He added that there was no information about casualties or damage.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a record number of drones in a day, but the Russian air defense system stood the test of strength.

Earlier that day, the air defense forces also repelled a massive attack by Ukrainian UAVs on the Nizhnekamsk region of Tatarstan. Later, the mayor of Nizhnekamsk, Radmir Belyaev, notified about the termination of the unmanned danger regime in the republic.
