Moscow court blocks porn sites insulting Christians

The Lublin Court of Moscow has blocked Internet resources where videos with desecration of Christian symbols insulting believers were published. This was confirmed on September 4 by the case materials reviewed by Izvestia.

"Pornographic videos are freely available, showing scenes of sexual acts using images of church servants who aim to offend the religious feelings of Orthodox Christians," the text says.

It is specified that the relevant decision was made by the instance at the request of the prosecutor's office. During the proceedings, it turned out that there were no access restrictions on these sites, including age restrictions. The audit also revealed that there is no reliable information about the owner of the website or domain name.

The resolution recalled that administrative liability is provided for the deliberate public desecration of religious or liturgical literature, as well as symbols. Insulting the feelings of believers qualifies as a criminal act.

On August 31, Izvestia learned about the blocking by the Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow of websites where unknown persons sold diplomas of the military university and offered users to purchase other fake documents. It was noted that such activities not only violate the law in accordance with Part 1 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Forgery, manufacture or trafficking of forged documents"), but also destabilize the state of the troops.
