The emergency department of the hospital for war veterans was repaired in Yekaterinburg

After major repairs, the admission department of the neuropsychiatric building of the Sverdlovsk Spector Hospital for War Veterans was opened in Yekaterinburg. The regional Ministry of Health informs about this on its page on the VKontakte social network.

As part of the renovation, the contractor replaced the engineering systems, re-equipped the entrance group and installed the ramp. The interior has also undergone a transformation, thanks to which it was possible to introduce a triage system, a technology for distributing patients according to the severity of the condition.

"Basically, there is a planned flow in the hospital: about 50-60 patients pass through the admission department per day. Given that these are often older people, their condition may not always be satisfactory, so there are elements of triage, including outdoor navigation," said Tatiana Savinova, head of the Ministry of Health.

According to the <url> news agency, the cost of the work amounted to more than 14 million rubles. The funds were allocated from the regional budget. The capacity of the renovated space reaches 100 people per day, and the reception department itself is serviced by a multidisciplinary hospital with 500 beds.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health notes that a comprehensive modernization of the hospital has been underway since 2025. During this time, 392 million rubles were allocated for work, of which 307 million went for capital repairs and 85 million for the purchase of medical equipment and transport. This is the first large-scale renovation of the building since 1984, when it was built.
