Sobyanin announced the destruction of 86 UAVs on the approach to Moscow.

The Air Defense Forces destroyed another 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on their approach to Moscow. This was announced on September 3 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"14 UAVs were destroyed by the Defense Ministry's air defense systems," a message on the Maks messenger said.

Sobyanin clarified that specialists are working at the crash site of the drone wreckage. Thus, since the beginning of the day, the total number of downed drones has increased to 86.

The fighters themselves produce winding machines, modernize and restore captured equipment.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed 416 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia during the night. It was clarified that the drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Tver, Smolensk, Kursk, Orel, Tula, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tambov, Rostov, Volgograd and Penza regions, as well as over the Crimea, the Moscow region and the Black Sea.
