Rostov beat CSKA 2-0 in the Russian Cup match

In the match of the third round of the group stage of the Russian Football Cup, Rostov beat CSKA Moscow 2-0 on its own field. The Group D meeting took place on September 2 in Rostov-on-Don.

The scoring chances were realized by Imran Aznaurov in the 75th minute and Danila Prokhin in the 85th, Sport-Express reports.

Already in the 10th minute, CSKA defender Milan Gajic was injured and was replaced by Enrique Carmo. Alexander Vakulich, a graduate of the club, made his debut for CSKA.

Rostov continues to lead the group standings with nine points. CSKA occupies the third, penultimate position with two points. In the next round, on October 14, the teams will meet again in Moscow.
