The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has lifted restrictions for all players from Russia and Belarus. The decision was made during a meeting of the FIBA Executive Committee in Switzerland. This was announced on September 1 on the website of the Russian Basketball Federation.
It is known that the decision was made in accordance with the recommendation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
"The FIBA Executive Committee has confirmed its readiness to follow the decisions of the IOC, namely: to lift restrictions for all players, coaches, referees, commissioners and other officials in basketball and 3x3 basketball in Russia and Belarus," the publication says.
