The modern world is faced with a significant return of large-scale military aggression. This was stated on September 1 by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

"Currently, direct massive military aggression has demonstratively returned. Our response to such a challenge should be the formation of a new security architecture in Eurasia," he is quoted as saying on the Telegram channel Pool One.

The Belarusian leader noted that today countries face various forms of pressure, including informational, diplomatic and sanctions. In his opinion, it is necessary to create a space of trust and cooperation to counter these challenges.

On August 28, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the fact that in the modern world, states have stopped trusting each other, while the current UN Security Council is losing its ability to resolve the situation. In this regard, he pointed out the important role of regional international organizations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on July 27 that a new device is currently being formed in the world, but this is happening in an acute and competitive struggle. Then he noted the role of the Russian Federation in countering external forces that prevent other countries from developing freely.
