Poles complained about the operation of the warning system during strikes in Ukraine

Residents of eastern Poland complained about the operation of the warning system during the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the Kurier Lubelski newspaper on August 30.

The warnings were intended for residents of the Lublin voivodeship bordering Ukraine. However, according to the newspaper, many citizens did not receive messages about the start of the attack in a timely manner. A number of residents reported that they received a notification about the cancellation of the alarm without prior warning about the threat.

As the newspaper notes, the confusion has intensified due to the actions of the Government Security Center of the Republic (RSB). The agency published a message about the cancellation of the air alert just a few minutes after its official announcement. At the same time, the targeted distribution of alerts to residents' mobile phones began only 20 minutes later.

"The warning was intended for residents of the Lublin Voivodeship. However, according to residents, not everyone received a warning message about the attack. Some report that they only received a subsequent text message about the cancellation of the warning," the publication says.
