A fisherman found a crewless boat off the coast of Samsun in Turkey.
A crewless boat was found off the coast of the Turkish province of Samsun, and a local fisherman noticed the object off the coast. This was reported on August 30 by the Ihlas Haber Ajansı agency (IHA).
"An unmanned submarine was discovered off the coast in the Char Shamba area of the city of Samsun," the text says.
It is specified that the find was found on the beach. According to fisherman Kazim Baltaoglu, at first he mistook the object in the water for an ordinary boat, but later realized that it was an unmanned device, after which he reported the incident to the gendarmerie and the coast guard.
According to the agency, after receiving the message, law enforcement officers and rescue services arrived at the scene. The origin of the unmanned vehicle and its purpose will have to be established during the inspection.
On August 30, the IHA news agency reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle had been detected in the Black Sea near the Turkish province of Zonguldak. The drone in the water area near the port of Alapla was noticed by fishermen, who immediately notified the local authorities.
