The Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed air defense calculations and drone control points in the Cages of the Sumy region

In the village of Sadki, liberated by the Russian army, and its surroundings, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deployed air defense units and drone control points. This was announced on August 30 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

As indicated in the department, the units of the North group of forces established control over the settlement of Sadki, Sumy region, as a result of active actions. Ukrainian units deployed artillery and equipment in the village and surrounding areas.

"In the village of Sadki and in its vicinity, Ukrainian nationalists deployed their air defense crews, artillery and UAV control points," the report says.

The Ministry stressed that the establishment of control over the Cages contributes to the expansion of the security zone along the Russian border.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces had established control over the settlements of Veliky Prykol and Sadki in the Sumy region. In addition, formations of four mechanized, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and two air defense brigades were affected in the Kharkiv region.
