The Geely Coolray crossover appeared in Russia in a more affordable version

The Geely Coolray crossover, which dropped out of the brand's lineup at the end of last year and returned to the Russian market in an updated form in May, received a new, more affordable Sport package. This is stated in the message of the Chinese brand, which was received by Izvestia on August 25.

Previously, the Geely Coolray was available in only one version — an "Exclusive" for 2.94 million rubles, but in the new configuration, the crossover will cost 2.77 million rubles.

This model, in particular, lacks a panoramic roof with a sunroof, electric adjustments of the driver's seat, a rear armrest with cup holders, atmospheric multicolor interior lighting in the doors, wireless charging for smartphones, a complex of driving assistants (including adaptive cruise control), an all-round viewing system and electric heating of the windshield, as well as an electric fifth door drive. Interior decoration and sun visors have been simplified.

The equipment includes diode optics, 18-inch discs, red brake calipers, a sports diffuser, roof rails, a large spoiler with the S logo, a package of winter options, keyless entry, single-zone climate control, a six-speaker audio system, a camera and parking sensors at the rear, an 8.8-inch digital dashboard and a media system with a 14.6-inch screen, a set of basic security systems.

The Coolray is still equipped with a 1.5-liter (147 hp; 270 Nm) four-cylinder turbo engine paired with a "robot". The average fuel consumption in a mixed driving cycle is 6.5 liters per 100 km. Coolray has also expanded its color palette. The shades of "purple mother of pearl", "white" and "gray metallic" were added to "silver metallic" and "red".

Earlier that day, it was reported that the Jeland J7 crossover, which is being produced in St. Petersburg full-cycle and went on sale in July, received a new top-of-the-line Prestige+ package. The price of this model is 3.05 million rubles in the front—wheel drive version and 3.35 million rubles in the full-wheel drive version.
