Molodezhny Avenue, which was closed 10 years ago, was restored in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, through traffic has resumed along Molodezhny Prospekt, a section of which was closed more than 10 years ago. For the next season, comprehensive repairs will be carried out there to relieve traffic in the old part of the Solnechny microdistrict.

We are talking about a problematic 130-meter stretch of road adjacent to Petrushina Street. Passage along it has been prohibited for a long time because of the crumbling slope, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

To stabilize the slope, the road workers filled the ravine with soil, installed concrete fences, leveled the road surface, dismantled all obstacles and restored lighting.

As the head of the city Sergey Vereshchagin noted, the Molodezhny section along the 3rd microdistrict is also in an ugly state. He instructed to organize a temporary backfill, as the coating is constantly being washed away.

Next, the territory is examined to evaluate possible drainage options. According to the mayor, the possibility of a full-fledged repair of the road in 2027 will be worked out.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk, traffic was restricted on the Oktyabrsky Bridge due to road repairs. The two outermost lanes in the direction of traffic from the left to the right bank are blocked.
