- Applications for the grant competition "Moscow is a good City" have been accepted
Applications for the eighth grant competition "Moscow is a Kind City" for socially oriented non—profit organizations (NPOs) have started. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in Maks.
The head of Moscow called NGOs "reliable partners of the capital in caring for Muscovites." "We continue to support important NGO initiatives that complement the large—scale public assistance system with customized solutions and unique services," Sobyanin wrote.
This year, applications will be accepted until September 23, and the winners will be announced in November. You can apply in six areas, including support for adults and children with special needs, families and adolescents in difficult situations, and members of your community and their families. Young organizations with at least six months of work experience are eligible to apply for the grant. For founders with the status of a veteran of their NGO, the date of registration does not matter — they can apply on a general basis, the mayor noted.
Sobyanin said that the innovation of this year's competition was an AI assistant for experts. He takes on the routine tasks of data analysis and structuring. Due to this, specialists will be able to pay more attention to the content of projects and how they meet the social demand, the head of the capital noted.
For the entire duration of the competition, 738 projects received support, the total amount of funding amounted to 2.8 billion rubles. The Moscow — Dobry Gorod Grant School, one of the largest free educational platforms in the capital in this field, provides assistance in preparing applications.
