The right hand of Saint Spyridon will be delivered to Khabarovsk on September 7

Khabarovsk will host the greatest Christian shrine, the right hand of St. Spyridon, Bishop of Trimifunt, from September 7-9. She will be taken to the Transfiguration Cathedral.

The offering of the relics is performed with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. The ark with the holy relics arrived in Russia from the Greek island of Corfu on August 17. The ark will be delivered to Khabarovsk from Irkutsk. Metropolitan Artemy of Khabarovsk and Amur, co-served by the hierarchs of the Amur Archdiocese, will hold a solemn prayer service at the Transfiguration Cathedral.

On these two days, from September 7-9, the temple will be accessible to pilgrims from 7:00 to 20:00. During this time, prayer services will be held at the relics of St. Spyridon.

After Khabarovsk, the ark will go to Chelyabinsk. September 12 — Yekaterinburg, September 13-14 — Vladimir, and September 15-20 — Moscow.

Saint Spyridon is the patron saint of the destitute and needy. He is considered a speedy helper of the suffering in all troubles.
