The armed forces of Russia and Kyrgyzstan have completed a joint tactical exercise.

A tactical exercise with military contingents of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation ended with a drawing of joint practical actions to destroy conditional illegal armed formations (IAF) on the territory of a training center in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the legend of the exercise, IAF units crossed the state border and engaged in battle with border guard units. Rapid reaction units began to repel the attack of superior enemy forces.

Calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), having performed aerial reconnaissance of the state border, revealed the coordinates and firepower of the enemy. The intelligence was promptly transmitted to the crews of Mi-8MTV transport and combat helicopters to launch a preemptive strike against the enemy with unguided aircraft missiles.

In order to prevent the further advance of the IAF forces, the crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers, as well as 120-mm and 82-mm mortars inflicted fire damage and divided into groups. When the "enemy" tried to occupy a piece of terrain in the border areas to build up forces and assets, the military of the combined unit blocked the groups of the conditional bandit, identified their strongholds, areas of accumulation of equipment and manpower. Operators of shock FPV drones and UAVs with ammunition drop systems, having completed reconnaissance of the area, destroyed the remaining armored and automotive equipment of the conditional armed forces, providing favorable conditions for the further offensive of the combined unit.

The assault groups, using mobile vehicles such as ATVs, cross—country motorcycles and Ulan off-road vehicles, carried out a sweep of the border areas from the imaginary enemy under the cover of fire from infantry fighting vehicles and armored vehicles.

After the practical action draw was completed, a solemn closing ceremony of the exercise took place. The military orchestra performed the national anthems of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. The most distinguished military personnel were awarded with insignia, diplomas and valuable gifts.

It is known that a joint tactical exercise with military contingents of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation took place from August 10 to August 17, 2026 on the territory of the training center in Kyrgyzstan.

The Russian contingent was based on motorized rifle and reconnaissance units, UAV strike crews and Mi-8MTV helicopter crews from the united Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan.
