In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a number of cities and districts have declared a regime of adverse weather conditions (NMR). The measures are introduced for more than a day — from 1 p.m. on Monday, August 17, to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18.

Krasnoyarsk, Zelenogorsk, Zheleznogorsk, Divnogorsk and the village of Solnechny fall under the regime, the press service of the Central Siberian Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring reported.

The "black sky" regime will also operate in Aban, Achinsk, Birilus, Bogotolsk, Yenisei, Motyginsky, Kansky, Kezhemsky, Kozulsky and 18 other districts.

During this period, enterprises are required to take measures to reduce emissions into the atmosphere, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. In order to monitor compliance with the legislation, environmental inspectors switched to an enhanced mode of operation.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk the number of days with NMU has tripled. In the first half of 2026, this regime was in effect for 140 days, while for the same period a year earlier it was 41 days. Such a noticeable increase in numbers is due to a change in the regulatory framework.
