Sevastopol was temporarily de-energized due to an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 13 by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"As a result of the enemy's attack on our energy infrastructure, the city was temporarily left without electricity," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

At the moment, work is underway to restore electricity. The governor advised to save the charge of communication devices and use them only in emergency cases.

It is specified that the air defense forces and mobile firing groups continue to repel the enemy attack.

Razvozhaev reported on August 12 that the air defense forces had eliminated more than 30 Ukrainian drones in the sky above the city. He specified that windows were broken in three apartment buildings and five private houses in Balaklava.
