The Russian Interior Ministry has put on the wanted list political scientist Tatiana Stanovaya (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). The card with her details was published on August 11 on the agency's website.

According to information from the registry, Stanovaya is wanted as part of a criminal investigation.

The department did not specify which article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is being searched for.

In November 2024, Stanovaya was recognized as a foreign agent in Russia. It is specified that the political scientist participated in the dissemination of messages from a foreign agent, as well as in the creation of materials from organizations whose activities are considered undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, the political scientist disseminated false information about the decisions taken by Russian public authorities and their policies.
