The Russian Ministry of Defense has been recognized as the injured party in the criminal case against businessman Dmitry Mizgir, accused of supplying substandard canned food for the needs of the department. This was reported to TASS by law enforcement agencies on August 11.

It is specified that the amount of material damage amounted to about 1 billion rubles. The exact figure will be determined during further investigation.
