Georgia has declared the impossibility of restoring diplomatic relations with Russia.

The restoration of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Russia is impossible until Moscow refuses to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in an interview with the newspaper. BM.GE .

"As long as there is this recognition, diplomatic relations, of course, cannot be restored. Our goal with regard to Russia is a peaceful settlement of the conflict. This is one of our foreign policy priorities," the head of government stressed.
