Since the beginning of 2026, sales managers, administrators, packers and pickers have been among the most sought-after professions in Russia. This became known on August 11 from the results of the study. hh.ru , which were reviewed by RIA Novosti.

"The ranking of the most popular professions among Russians was led by sales managers, according to hh.ru They account for 1.6 million resumes from Russians since the beginning of 2026. Administrators (almost 900 thousand resumes), packers and pickers (more than 850 thousand resumes) also entered the top ten of the rating," the study says.

Driver vacancies were also among the most popular among applicants — more than 835 thousand resumes, handymen — about 684 thousand, waiters and bartenders — 580 thousand, sellers — 550 thousand. Accountants collected about 515,000 resumes, project managers — over 508,000, and programmers — over 460,000.

It is clarified that the professional preferences of Russians vary markedly by age group. Applicants between the ages of 19 and 30 are more likely to choose sales managers, programmers, designers, and marketers. People over the age of 60 mostly consider working as drivers. The conclusions are based on the analysis of more than 16 million resumes posted on hh.ru since the beginning of 2026.
