Colonel Vadim Repetsky of the airborne assault troops of the Ukrainian army was eliminated in the area of the special operation. This was reported on August 9 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Colonel Vadim Stanislavovich Repetsky, an officer of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was eliminated in the combat zone," the source told TASS.

It is specified that Repetsky was buried in the village of Chukalovka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The law enforcement agencies did not provide any other details of the incident.
