The Russian Armed Forces destroyed the logistics center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sumy region with "Geraniums"

Russian military personnel using unmanned aerial vehicles "Geran" destroyed the drone control center and logistics center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy region. This was announced on August 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The Geran UAV crews destroyed the UAV control center and logistics center in the Sumy region," the ministry said in a statement.

The Defense Ministry noted that the Russian military regularly strikes drone control points, warehouses and logistics centers that the enemy uses to deliver and store military equipment, including drones and their components.

The Ministry stressed that units of the unmanned systems forces use high-precision drones capable of destroying any target throughout Ukraine. The agency showed footage of objective control with the destruction of enemy facilities.

Seven distribution centers were hit in Kiev and the region, and three dry cargo ships with weapons were damaged near Odessa.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian Army had attacked two oil refineries in the Akhtyrsky district of the Sumy region. The Ministry explained that such operations are aimed at disrupting the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
