The BBC has found the former head of Syrian intelligence in Russia
The former head of Syrian intelligence, Hussam Luka, whom the new Syrian authorities accuse of involvement in murders and torture, may be in Russia. This was announced on August 9 by the BBC television channel following its own investigation.
According to the newspaper, the journalists found a notebook with contacts in Luke's apartment in Damascus, after which they tried for several months to establish his whereabouts. During the investigation, they managed to obtain a Russian phone number, which allegedly belongs to the former head of intelligence.
