The Russian army destroyed UAV control points in the DPR and the Kherson region
The control points of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Kherson region were destroyed by air bombs FAB-3000 and FAB-500. This was announced on August 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation regularly carry out strikes on UAV control points," the statement said.
The ministry clarified that the strikes were also carried out at the temporary deployment point of the 34th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Antonovka, Kherson region. The Defense Ministry noted that the Russian military regularly targets warehouses and logistics centers used for the storage and delivery of military equipment, including drones and their components.
According to the agency, the footage of objective control received from drones in real time confirmed the destruction of all targets.
On August 9, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces had hit warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with drones, components and electronic warfare equipment in the Kharkiv region with the help of Geran unmanned aerial vehicles. The department also showed footage of objective monitoring confirming the defeat of targets.
