"Every year it is necessary to change the form, because the child grows. When I started training, we were given uniforms at the children's sports school. Of course, if you take football, swimming and hockey, of course, hockey is the most expensive, because you need a stick, helmet, skates, of course. Swimming requires swimming trunks and, in principle, slippers and that's it. In football, there are cleats, shorts and a T—shirt," the athlete noted.

Ovechkin signed a new one-year contract with the NHL's Washington Capitals on July 2. The contract extension will allow the 39-year-old forward to continue playing for the club at least until the end of the next NHL season.
